You don’t have to go far to experience the only Halloween Festival in Kankakee County.
Downtown business owners will provide treats to the revelers. In addition to Trick or treating, a children's and pet costume contest, cookie decorating, spooky arts and crafts, pumpkin painting , children's games, a hay ride, spooky story telling, magic show with Mitch Williams, Halloween songs with Farmer Ron at the Farm Museum, and more will take place. There are too many cool activities to mention! Moms and dads will enjoy the festivities too and perhaps grab a bite to eat at one of the many downtown restaurants. There is something for everyone in historic downtown Momence! Bordertown Hauntings is held each year on the Saturday before Halloween. Mark your calendars for this great event!
