Information

Fox River Arts is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Fox River Arts Ramble, a two-day self-guided arts tour featuring numerous arts-related locations from Elgin to Aurora on the Fox River.

The Fox River Arts Ramble features multiple artistic disciplines at sites across Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and Elgin, including (but not limited to) open studios, galleries, art schools, museums, public art venues/tours, and creative spaces. A one-day event in its first year, this year’s event has been expanded to two days to give participants more time to tour dozens of different arts-related locations. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet a diverse group of artists, enjoy artwork on display, watch artists create their work, and tour public and private spaces.

The three organizations making up the steering committee—the Fine Line Creative Arts Center, the St Charles Arts Council, and Water Street Studios—will all provide headquarters for the weekend. In addition to extensive arts offerings, the headquarters will have refreshments and restrooms available for use. Last year’s inaugural event attracted hundreds of visitors to the Fox Valley region to bask in the richness of the arts in our community. Mark your calendar and join us for the 2nd Annual Fox River Arts Ramble on Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
