Come out for all things trains at Homewood’s annual Rail Fest. Enjoy train layouts, train memorabilia, food vendors, ride a trackless train, and live music.
Rail enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy all things trains! Homewood has always embraced its rich rail history. Trains have always made their way through Homewood. Whether it was historic Illinois Central, Amtrak, Metra, or Canadian National, all had a story to tell that resonates with rail enthusiasts. Families will be able to explore the intricate train layouts for all ages to enjoy. Kids will have fun participating in train crafts, decoding Hobo symbols, and story time with Homewood's favorite train conductor. Rail fans will have the opportunity to meet with vendors to purchase one-of-a-kind collections of antique trains, model trains, train memorabilia, and items associated with model railways. 9AM-3PM.
