The Morton Arboretum’s next major exhibition, Human+Nature (pronounced: Human Nature), will highlight the deep connections between people and trees.
PLEASE NOTE: Some exhibition materials remain in transit due to pandemic-related shipping delays; a new exhibition opening date will be decided in the coming weeks. Check the webpage for updates.
Built to create a sense of awe and wonder, five massive sculptures will be featured with the backdrop of the Arboretum’s magnificent and mature tree collections. Each grand in size and appearance (20-25 feet tall), the sculptures are crafted especially for Arboretum visitors.
The installations will include a towering interpretation of a Mother Nature figure welcoming Arboretum visitors to interact by walking inside the sculpture, large-scale human hands, diverse human facial traits interwoven with root structures, and a symbolic opening of the human heart.
The Human+Nature exhibit will be free of charge with general Arboretum admission. Timed-entry passes and tickets are required for all guests and will help ensure paced arrivals and moderated attendance numbers. You must purchase your timed-entry tickets in advance.
Tickets will not be sold at the gate.
