This free theatrical style program is presented as a casual conversation between President Lincoln, portrayed by Lincoln Impersonator George Buss, and folklorist Chris Vallillo. Combining live period music by Vallillo with conversation and narrative by President Lincoln, the performance explores Lincoln’s personal and political communication. Vallillo will perform on the guitar, bottleneck slide Dobro, banjo and jaw harp. Buss will present his narrative using Lincoln’s own words from speeches.
Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served.
