Founded in 1922 by legendary businessman, Paul Butler, the Oak Brook Polo Club is an American Polo treasure and one of the oldest polo clubs in the United States.
Polo is a unique sport in that it is played on a nine acre field with an additional 2-3 more acres surrounding the field used as a safety barrier and for other game-essential staff to operate.
This size of space allows the sport to easily enforce social distancing guidelines instituted and recommended by state and federal health authorities. As a result, the Oak Brook Polo Club has transformed its venue layout into a limited capacity all-tailgate environment with strict social distancing and buffer zones between each tailgate party.
