Planetarium Public Show at the U-46 Science and Planetarium

This event has passed.

The U-46 Planetarium Public Show is a great time to see the planetarium that is normally only for the U-46 educational system.

The U-46 school district added a planetarium to the facility in 1963, making it the first school system in the state of Illinois to have its own planetarium. Since its opening in 1963, more than 700,000 school children have attended planetarium programs at the facility. But now it's time to open it to the public!

Theme: History of the Elgin Watch Company, no full dome show, family friendly, but best for older children (grades 4 and up)

Two shows 4:30-5:30pm and 6:30-7:30pm doors open 30 minutes prior to each show
