Gather at Hopkins Park for a free family-oriented winter activities such as snowman building, winter crafts, and even a figure-skating demonstration at the 7th annual POLAR-palooza!

Come celebrate all things winter and enjoy the great outdoors! Join the DeKalb Park District for family-oriented winter activities from noon - 3 pm at the 7th annual Polar-Palooza Winter Festival. This is a free event and no registration is required.

Activities include Bonfires, Scavenger Hunts, Hot Chocolate and S’mores Roasting, Sled Dog Demonstrations, Snowman Building Contest, Ice Skating, NIU Outdoor Adventures, Winter Crafts, Nature Trail Hikes, Sports Demonstrations, Sledding and more!
