Hand-powered craft head race on the Mississippi River in Quincy, utilizing the same 5-mile course of the inaugural race in 1872.
The Quincy Five Miler is a 5.4 mile head race on the Mississippi River and Quincy Bay. $25 to enter, with 7 categories of prizes. Start time is 11am from Knapheide Landing. Bring anything you can row, pedal or paddle. New this year is the addition of a fun/social paddle sponsored by the Quincy 5 Miler at 5pm on September 16th at Twin Oaks Club.
