Saving Abel hit the scene in 2004 and in 2008 their self titled debut album rose the charts with their single "addicted". The song hit number 2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, while the album peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200. The album would earn it's gold certification a year later due to its lead single.
