Get Eclipsed in Mt. Vernon
You won't want to miss the heart of Southern Illinois this summer! On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse path will stretch across the entire United States, reaching its point of greatest duration just 50 miles south of Mt. Vernon. This region in southern Illinois is not only in the path of the 2017 eclipse, but also the 2024 eclipse, making it a unique location for field experts and visitors alike. We invite you to stay & play with us in Mt. Vernon for Totality Fest with live entertainment, events and more all weekend long. On Monday morning, head south to the path of totality for an experience you'll never forget!
