We are the oldest, continuously open ski club in the United States.
At the Norge Ski Club, the party's been going on for more than 110 years. This 150-feet ski jump rises high above the Fox River and offers year-round training facilities and competition venue for world-class athletes. No snow? No Problem. The plastic covering ont he hill creates a slick surface, even on 90-degree days.
While the athletes practice quietly throughout the year, on competition days in January and Septemeber, thousands of spectators set up at the bottom of the hill to watch the skiers fly! The Norge Ski Club features a 70-meter ski jumping scaffold situated high on a hill overlooking Fox River Grove. There are also four smaller scaffolds for ski jumping training, member cottages and a clubhouse. Check out the website for the biggest downhill skiing competitions and events to watch!
