Cable, President of the Rock Island Railroad, circa 1912, this original country estate used as the summer home for the Cable family, features a beautiful view and central location on a hill overlooking the Mississippi River valley. Enjoy the unique experience of an overnight stay in a private home. Special features include a 600 square foot parlor with gold concert harp, grand piano, chandeliers, and large wood-burning fireplace. A full breakfast of fruit, rolls, juice, and three entrees is served either in the Dining Room or on the deck, weather permitting. Enjoy the outdoors, with over 3 acres of oak trees Choose from 4 beautifully appointed rooms. There is also air conditioning, off-street parking, and private bath.
