Looking for a fun family day out? DeKalb Kite Festival is a full day of family fun. Kids will enjoy seeing the giant inflatable kites, dancing kites, and fighting kites high up in the sky. This festival attracts kite enthusiasts from all over the U.S. Come see what it’s all about! You can bring your own kite or make one here.

This event is free. Manja (manjha) string or any other type of glass covered string is prohibited. Bring your own: sunscreen, chairs, blankets, food/snacks/non-alcoholic beverages, and kites. Food, beverages, and kites will be available for purchase.
