The Liberty 5K Run/Walk Committee is pleased to announce plans for the annual Liberty 5K Run Walk on July 3rd at 6:00pm in Downtown Morris!

Registration is open for the Liberty 5k

The Liberty 5K is a chip timed run on a certified course that takes runners through Nostalgic Downtown Morris and area parks and neighborhoods. The route is completely paved, primarily flat, with slight hills. Modifications have been made to offer an in person, safe and socially distanced run, that can easily transition into a traditional run should mitigations allow.

The Liberty 5k not only supports and honors local military personnel, but involves them in the event. But military involvement is just one of the keys to the success of this event. The Liberty 5K gives special awards to military personnel, offers a master’s division, cash awards for the top finishers, and great give aways for all participants.

Early registration is open for only $25.00 through May 31. Registration for those 14 and under is reduced to $18.00 for those who register early.
