The Springfield Art Association is hosting a community block party where you literally paint the streets of downtown Springfield! Visitors will enjoy this unique outdoor gallery on the day of the event, and for months to come.
Participant / groups will purchase a 6' x 6' square of street on which they can paint anything they wish and will receive an event bag containing: paint supplies (including the tempera paint we will be using which is water soluble/washable) and giveaway goodies from sponsors. Food stands and great music will be available throughout the day. Visitors will enjoy this unique outdoor gallery on the day of the event, and for months to come, until Nature clears the street to prepare the canvas for next year's event.
