Rock Falls Summer Splash

The Rock Falls Summer Splash takes place on the banks of the Rock River at the RB&W Park and throughout the Rock Falls downtown area.

There will be food trucks and a wild game cookout, the YMCA 5K Family Fun Run, YWCA Stuffed Animal Contest (can be virtual or in-person) and Farmer's Market style vendor booths featuring businesses, crafters, farmers, and more spread over three locations uptown with lots of space in between.

The Rock Falls Library will host “Spaced" Out Fun featuring stargazing demonstrations & activities with NASA Solar System Ambassador Gregg Ripley

There will also be Cruise-parade party for everything from classic cars to mom vans.

Summer Splash is planned to meet the expected safety recommendations. That means to expect changes from previous years such as more virtual/stay in your car activities, if recommended, and more in-person entertainment style activities if the state opens up more event capacity.
