Join us for our Christmas at the Cross celebration.

The event will feature carriage rides, vendors, food trucks, live music, and family activities.

Bald Knob Cross of Peace is situated in the Shawnee National Forest near the small town of Alto Pass, Illinois, and towers above the landscape at over 111 feet and is visible for many miles. After the inaugural Easter Sunrise Service in 1937, construction of the Cross began in 1959 with completion in 1963. The Cross attracts over 30,000 visitors annually from across the world making it one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. The site is managed by Bald Knob Cross of Peace, Inc, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
