Park naturalists have gone batty-that is batty over bats!
Falltober fest on October 21 will kick off with a children's story and craft program all about bats at 9:30 a.m. at the Eagle Roost Cabin behind the Starved Rock Visitor Center. Parents must chaperone their child during the program. Please register by emailing lisa.sons@illinois.gov, All state park programs are free but donations to the Starved Rock Foundation are always welcome.
