The Carroll County Fair returns Aug. 4–8, 2026, to Carroll County Fairgrounds in Milledgeville, IL, featuring carnival rides, livestock shows, live music, grandstand events, fair food, and family-friendly fun all week long.
The annual Carroll County Fair returns to Milledgeville, Illinois, Aug. 4–8, 2026, bringing five days of classic county fair fun to the fairgrounds at Schell Park. From livestock shows and 4-H exhibits to carnival rides, live music, food stands, and grandstand entertainment, this longtime community tradition offers something for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a full schedule of events throughout the week, including agricultural competitions, family activities, bingo, special attractions, and evening entertainment. Carnival rides and games will run Tuesday through Saturday, while the fairgrounds fill with everything from baked goods and fine arts exhibits to farm animals and tractor displays.
Friday night’s grandstand entertainment features free live music from Cherry Pie, a popular Midwest 80s hair band tribute group, along with opening act Burn N’ Bush. Fairgoers can also look forward to fan-favorite motor events, including the fair’s demolition derby and other grandstand action.
Whether visitors come for the carnival lights, fair food, livestock judging, live music, or small-town summer atmosphere, the Carroll County Fair continues to be one of northwest Illinois’ favorite summer traditions. The fair is held at Carroll County Fairgrounds in Milledgeville.
