With professional ease and enthusiasm, the Wrights take you on a tour that gives a glimpse of Victorian culture and shares the history of their family home, the Castle.
This beautiful home, a 1898 high style Queen Anne home originally built for D. H. Van Dolah, boasts a sweeping wrap around porch, three story turret, and six Flemish stepped gables to name just a few of its fine details. Inside, you explore the home’s highlights, including a three-story free floating staircase, four original fireplaces, decorative art murals, balconies and circular turret rooms. You’ll also be able to enjoy the Castle’s many English and Victorian-themed gardens, wandering on your own, or through a guided tour. Castle Tours are guided and last around 90 minutes. Allow an additional 30 minutes for touring the gardens. Guests rely on stairs to access all four levels of the Castle.
