Learn more about the city of Collinsville at the Collinsville Historical Society Museum.
The museum is a repository for artifacts dating back to 1767. The collection includes exhibits unique to the city, like Blum Bell Manufacturing Company's original cowbells, a glimpse into Collinsville's mining past, and an exhibit featuring the history of Catsup Bottle, a National Historic Landmark. The museum also features an extensive sports exhibit showcasing nationally ranked high school sports teams, Olympic champions born in Collinsville, and professional baseball and football players. In addition, the museum pays homage to the city's founding fathers, as well as veterans from the Civil War to the Vietnam War. All ages are welcome, and admission is free.
