Culture, Arts and Music (CAM) provides educational services to bring the world to you. Whether it's through learning the culture of Trinidad & Tobago through a steelband class or learning about American jazz in private lessons, CAM expands horizons!
Tucked into an unassuming building on an unassuming street in the heart of McHenry County is possibly the most unique cultural experience you'll find in the Midwest. Potts & Pans, Chicagoland's largest steelpan organization, along with their not-for-profit organization, Culture, Arts & Music (CAM), provide steelpan entertainment and education throughout the area. We know what you're probably thinking: calypso tunes and umbrella drinks. Imagine, instead, classical symphonies and concertos echoing from handcrafted instruments. In the hands of these talented musicians, the drums sing.
Musical performances are provided by the steelpan band Potts and Pans!
