The park center has a 5000 square foot indoor heated pool, a gym, a weight / exercise room and more. Outside has picnic areas, playgrounds, walking paths, tennis courts, sports fields, and a pond with lots of ducks. All at one location.
This park is great for both indoor and outdoor activities. The Aquatic Activity Center features a 5000 square foot indoor heated pool with handicap accessibility. Come and enjoy swimming or join one of the aqua arthritis or aerobics classes. The center also has a full circuit workout area with weight stations, machines, free weights, treadmills, stair-steppers, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and much more! The gym has basketball courts with four goals. The banquet room seats approximately 250 people and has a spacious kitchen area. The Aquatic Activity Center offers both day passes and memberships.
The outdoor facilities include picnic shelters available free of charge on a first come, first serve basis. All shelters have tables and grills. Two of the larger shelters are available to rent for special occasions. Call the park for reservations and additional information. Four playground areas are near the picnic shelters to provide a safe and convenient site for family outings.
Walk for leisure and enjoy the scenery or exercise on the park’s paved walking path or one of the walking/jogging trails. A mile-long walking path winds through this beautiful park. The 3-acre pond is home to a variety of fish, ducks, and turtles. Fishing is allowed year round.
For sports lovers, the park has two tennis courts, a basketball court, six baseball fields, two softball fields, tee ball fields along with two concession stands and convenient parking and restroom facilities throughout the park. Only 10 miles south of Rend Lake.
