Located at the Mt. Vernon Airport, The Jefferson County Hall of Honor pays tribute to local service people and veterans who served their community and country in times of war and peace.
The Colonel R.D. White Veterans Museum is home to hundreds of pieces of military memorabilia collected during all major conflicts. Authentic vintage uniforms, weapons, munitions, and even K-rations are on display with era newspapers, magazines, and letters from home. From the Civil War to present, relics from all areas of conflict are displayed in tribute.
The Hall of Honor recognizes area military past and present, each in 8x10 framed biographies.
