McHenry Outdoor Theater extends its season for the holidays, presenting a festive movie lineup with Santa visits, surprises, and cozy amenities. Enjoy a magical outdoor cinema experience!
This year, McHenry Outdoor Theater is breaking tradition by extending its operating days beyond mid-August to embrace the holiday spirit. The November and December lineup promises a delightful mix of seasonal movies that will captivate audiences of all ages. To combat the chill in the air, the theater is going the extra mile to keep movie-goers warm and comfortable. Alongside the already available cozy hoodies, patrons can now purchase branded blankets to snuggle up in during the screenings.
As an extra festive touch, the theater is offering hot chocolate and hot cider, ensuring that visitors stay toasty while enjoying the cinematic wonders under the night sky. Adding to the holiday magic, guests in December will have the chance to capture special moments with Santa Claus himself.
The carefully curated movie schedule includes beloved holiday classics such as "Elf," "It's a Wonderful Life," and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." Each weekend in November and December features a pair of heartwarming films, creating the perfect opportunity for families and friends to gather, create lasting memories, and relish the magic of cinema beneath the starlit sky.
