Chicago Area Tandem Society invites you to MTR 2022, the 46th annual Midwest Tandem Rally! The event will be held in Decatur, Illinois located in the heart of the state.
The CATS team looked for an MTR location that's fun and interesting to visit and has great variety for bicycle riding in the area, and Decatur delivers! Our rides will include a little of everything including quiet roads, forest parks, rolling hills, flat roads, small rural towns, Lake Decatur, and Lincoln’s Homestead. In the City of Decatur, you’ll see beautiful homes, Millikin University, historical murals, art and more Lincoln history. These are some of the reasons that Decatur has a vibrant cycling community which hosts annual rides drawing cyclists from surrounding areas. Decatur Conference Center & Hotel is the host hotel for this event.
