Enjoy one of Carbondale’s most beloved summer traditions, the Sunset Concert Series!
This is a must on every visitor’s list, best of all, this family friendly event presents a wide variety of music to fit your genre preference. The summer series consist of seven free concerts, hosted alternately by the Southern Illinois University campus and Lenus Turley Park every Thursday in June and July. Bring your blankets and coolers and enjoy the music. Single-serve containers only. No glass bottles, underage drinking, solicitation, pets, or smoking. Sponsored by: Carbondale Park District, City of Carbondale, Student Programming Council, & SIU Student Center. Free Thursdays at 7 P.M.
