The C.H. Moore Homestead and DeWitt County Museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This restored and fully furnished mansion and grounds, whisks visitors back to the Victorian Era. Abraham Lincoln's good friend and law partner, Clifton H. Moore, once resided in the home. Visitors will enjoy a tour and hear stories of the home's past. The museum grounds also contain outbuildings of antique farm equipment, a railroad display and a working blacksmith shop.
