The Thebes Historical Society presents “Murder on the Mississippi”
The setting for the play is 1841 aboard the steamboat “The Time and Tide,” where Thebes is celebrating Independence Day. Period clothing is encouraged but not required. Audience participation is also encouraged and will be part of the fun! Reenactors present a murder mystery from the 1800’s but with a sprinkling of imagination and humor. Come for some mystery and a whole lot of fun!
Each ticket is assigned a table and seat number at the time of purchase. Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets early. There will be two shows on this day, one at noon and one at 5 PM. The event will be held at the Olive Branch Community Center and food will be catered by Sweet & Sassy Treats (Chuck Pearman) of Olive Branch.
