This Year’s Tour De Proviso is hosted by the Village of Riverside. The ride will take place throughout the blocks of historic Riverside, as well as parts of the Brookfield Zoo. The event is free and is open to all age groups.
The Tour de Proviso will start and end in Guthrie Park in Riverside, with a community expo afterwards for riders to meet, mingle, and learn more about local communities. Riders should gather around 7:30 a.m. and be prepared for a 7:45 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. start — with the ride lasting for about an hour. Parking is free and is available at the Riverside train station in Lot 1, located at 90 Bloomingbank Road. All participants will get a t-shirt and a medal — made from chocolate from Riverside’s own Aunt Diana’s. After the ride, riders and their families are welcome to stay a while and see all that Riverside has to offer.
