213 Liberty St, Morris, IL 60450

Coffee Shops

First opened in 1928 by Herb and Conrad Weitz, Weits Cafe has been a consistent staple in downtown Morris, IL.

In 1971 Weitz Cafe was sold to Gail M Kelly and his H.B. Price Company. The “Z” in Weitz Cafe was eventually replaced with an “S.” Weits Cafe would go on to switch ownership a few more times but has always offered great dining for residents and tourists. Current owners Aren Hansen and Matt Workman have brought Weits’ dining options back to their roots along with several contemporary offerings.
