Wichmann Vineyard Grape Stomp

Come out to Wichmann Vineyard for live music, delicious food, and and plenty of grapes to be stomped!

Festivities will begin at noon with live music from local musicians. Every fifteen minutes, a new set of stompers will step into our loaded barrels to see how much juice they can push out of the provided grapes. At the end of the day, the person with the most juice will be crowned the Grape Stomp champion, receiving a free bottle of Wichmann Vineyard wine and a set of wine glasses. There will also be a kids’ division and a Lucy Look-alike Contest. The Lucy contest winner will also receive a free bottle of wine and a set of wine glasses! Tickets for the event are $15 with proceeds supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois. Participants are welcome to bring food to snack on throughout the festival and food trucks will be available on site. Outside alcohol is not permitted. All participants will receive one free glass of wine of their choice from Wichmann Vineyard the day of the event.
