Enjoy your run through multiple parks thanks to the Quincy Park District. Take advantage of the opportunity to run across smaller bridges, along with enjoying the beautiful view of the Mississippi River.
Our race has been successful in not only raising funds for prescription medications, but building awareness and support for Quincy Catholic Charities as a whole. As community needs change and gaps in services remain, we took this as an opportunity to look at other non-profit organizations and identify other unmet needs in our community. This has led us to the YWCA Supportive Housing Program that serves individuals and families locally. By working with area emergency shelters, the YWCA is able to move the most vulnerable homeless families into safe, affordable housing. The QMG Bridge the Gap Race has brought people from near and far together to share in the experience of running or walking to help bridge the gap in community needs.
