Cave in Rock State Park Restaurant/Kaylors' is a reasonably priced family style restaurant. The restaurant menu features everything from sandwiches to steaks, to homemade desserts, specializing in the regional favorite, catfish.
Nestled in the Shawnee National Forest on Pirates' Bluff, is Cave in Rock State Park Restaurant/Kaylor's. Kaylor's is a reasonably priced, seasonal (Apr - Oct) restaurant. The restaurant menu features everything from sandwiches to steaks, to homemade desserts, specializing in the regional favorite, catfish. Kaylor's also offers a full bar for your dining pleasure. When weather allows, dining on the outside patio offers spectacular views of the Ohio river where you might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle or see one of the few remaining paddle wheelers. Loaded river barges are a common site and enjoyable to watch. Restaurant hours are Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, 11am to 8 pm. Sat 8 am to 8 pm. Sun 8 am to 6 pm with an all you can eat buffet featuring catfish and fried chicken, every Sunday, starting at 11 am. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday.
