Guided tours of this furnished home will reveal interesting facts about Quad Cities' history and the tragic ending for Colonel Davenport. Open May through October, on Thursday through Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The house was built in 1833 on Arsenal Island by George Davenport for his family. Many famous people visited and stayed at the home throughout its history as a residence.
