This Annual AKC Dog Show is hosted at The Pavilion in Marion the first weekend of each August.
This Annual AKC Dog Show boasts many additional amenities. Sign up to bring your dog to the hearing clinic or get their nails trimmed while you wait. Over 100 breeds will try to make it to the Best In Show ring. There will also be vendors of dog treats, toys, beds, blankets and more. Since 1958, the Crab Orchard Kennel Club has been dedicated to the sport of purebred dogs. Our mission is to advance, promote and protect dogs of all breeds and to educate the fancy and the general public in responsible dog ownership. We encourage good sportsmanship at all dog events as recognized by the American Kennel Club.

General Admission is $5 but there is an additional fee to enter a dog into the competition. Children 10 and under are free.
