Celebrate America's 250th year with a day filled with fun, celebration, and fireworks!
Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a day of fitness, community, and patriotic fun! Gather your friends and family and kick off your Independence Day celebration on the right foot with this chip-timed race, starting and finishing at Hopkins Park.
Registration includes a race bag with bib, participation medal, and a commemorative Independence Day T-shirt for the first 150 registered runners.
After the race, continue the celebration at the DeKalb Park District and City of DeKalb’s 2026 Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks. Enjoy food vendors, DJ entertainment, and a special performance by the DeKalb Municipal Band, The Star-Spangled Spectacular. The festivities conclude with a spectacular fireworks display to light up the night sky.
