Olde England comes alive in Historic Downtown Antioch, IL, with life-like figures representing scenes from the Dickens Era. Experience this Volunteer Public Art Exhibit. All Dicken's Characters are made from the ground up by Dicken's Volunteers.
2020: Dickens Holiday Village will be both indoors and outdoors in Downtown Antioch beginning daily Thanksgiving-New Year's Day (indoors 10 a.m.-8 p.m., outdoors 24/7) for you to enjoy. Each character exhibit has a plaque which describes the scene you are seeing and how life was in the Dicken's Era. Visit all the Dickens Scenes, both indoors and out!
In Kringle's Village you'll browse in awe at the dozens of oversized shadowboxes that are filled to the brim with quaint scenes. The holiday comes alive as you enjoy the ambiance of quaint Downtown Antioch while you enjoy meandering around town visiting our Dicken's Scenes and popping in our new indoor showroom to view our various shadowbox scenes and other fun decor! (Indoor location is at the Piggly Wiggly Plaza on Orchard Street, far west-end spot, #510 Orchard Street), there is plenty of parking! Plus, you will enjoy viewing some of our Dickens Holiday Village Scenes indoors this year!
