Flock to the Rock on February 7, 2026, offers eagle viewing, live wildlife programs, Native American storytelling, photography presentations, and ice sculpting in Rock Falls.
The 5th Annual Flock to the Rock takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, celebrating eagles, birds, and wildlife along the Rock River.
The day begins at the Lower Dam (300 W. 1st Street, Rock Falls) any time before 10:00 a.m., where visitors are invited to watch bald eagles soaring overhead—cameras and binoculars encouraged.
At 10:00 a.m., activities move to the Rock Falls American Legion (712 4th Avenue, Rock Falls; note the location change from previous years) for a lineup of engaging presentations.
At 10:15 a.m., Hoo Haven Wildlife Rehab & Education will share an educational program featuring a live eagle and interactive displays.
At 11 a.m., guests can enjoy a 45-minute Native American storytelling presentation, followed by a wildlife photography presentation from Gierhart Photo-Graphics at 1:00 p.m. Outside the Legion, ice carver Robert Storm returns to wow the crowd with live ice sculpting throughout the event.
This free, family-friendly event is open to all.
