Eagles and Ice Carvings. It will be a full morning on Feb. 10 at the lower dam in Rock Falls.
On Saturday, February 10, the public is invited to Flock to the Rock. Anytime before 10 a.m., go to the lower dam in Rock Falls (142 W. 1st Street) and get an up-close view of the majestic eagles as they fly around the Rock River and Lawrence Park.
Afterward, visit the Rock Falls Community Building (601 W. 10th Street). At 10:15 am, the Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab & Education brings a few birds of prey and does a live demonstration or talk. Also, Robert Storm, an ice carving artist, will do live ice carvings!
