Built as a private residence nearly 130 years ago, this circa 1888 home, now B&B, features a complete, eco-friendly remodeling which focused on reducing its carbon footprint.
Guests to the Genoa Guest House will experience the quality of the original exteriors, refinished woodwork, hardwood floors, and sunlit rooms while enjoying the totally modern upgrades.
Located in the small town of Genoa, Illinois, The Genoa Guest House features three fully remodeled guest rooms, new bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a cozy library, and a room for relaxing next to a fireplace. Additional niceties include, private parking; home brewed specialty teas; full breakfast, with home baked goods, fresh fruit and a special entrée; fresh baked cookies and milk; robes; luxurious linens; as well as locally made chocolate truffles. All this is within a short stroll to the award-winning local winery and restaurants. Explore our local forest preserves, biking and walking paths and our seasonal farmers market.
