Georgio's Chicago Pizzeria & Pub is a fairly new business, but the Deep Dish Pizza recipe is more than a half century old! Georgio's award-winning Chicago-style pizza is made today with the same recipe created in 1943!

"It starts with a well-seasoned deep dish pizza pan, hand-pressed with our special pizza dough made with water treated to match Chicago water, to the thick sliced mozzerella layed directly on top of the dough, to the sweet tomato sauce that tops off this deep dish creation! Georgio's makes every pizza with the same authenticity and passion as May & Ruth did with every pie they made since 1943". May & Ruth are the original masterminds behind the award winning pizza served up fresh at Georgio's Chicago Pizzeria & Pub. The two women began working in Chicago for pizzeria Uno and Gino's East when they decided to hang up their aprons and share their secret pizza recipie with Michael Coli, co-founder of Georgio's. 

Georgio's has served over 1,000,000 pizzas and recieved numerous awards, continuing the tradition of deep dish pizza perfection started by two humble selfless sisters in 1943.
