Imagine Hillsboro's Small Town Christmas combines timeless traditions with cozy family fun to create a unique experience for all ages!

Hillsboro comes alive as carolers stroll the streets and interactive characters portray scenes from beloved Christmas tales, all accompanied by a Christmas Market, carriage rides, kid's activities, and more. Eat Breakfast with Santa and don your mittens for the Frosty 5K marathon. The market opens at 11 AM and is open until 5 PM with a holiday light parade being held at 6:30 PM.

The Small-Town Christmas event offers exclusive shopping opportunities with local merchants peddling their handmade holiday wares and Hillsboro’s main street businesses open for holiday shopping. Attendees may enjoy traditional holiday foods like bratwurst, Christmas cookies, Gluhwein (mulled wine), and roasted chestnuts, as well as modern favorites, all served up by local businesses and clubs. The Orpheum theater will have two free showings of a classic Christmas movie during the event and there will be fun surprises and activities around every corner of Hillsboro throughout the day.
