Unveiled in 2002, the statue captures Logan in the summer of 1865 as he sets aside his sword, symbolizing his transition from a military leader to a man of peace. This depiction honors his pivotal role in the founding of Memorial Day and his advocacy for veterans. The statue serves as a reminder of Logan's enduring impact on American history and his dedication to public service
