Get ready for a kite festival of high-flying fun for all ages!
This 2-day event will feature professional kite flying demonstrations from the Chicago Kite Company, a designated area for kids/family kite flying, children’s live entertainment, a candy drop, balloon artist, face painting, dunk tank, food and craft vendors, bounce houses/obstacle course, and more!
With over 4,000 attendees, this festival is the largest of its' kind in our area. This is a free event for the community and visitors to enjoy! Kites will be for sale on-site, but families are also encouraged to bring their own kites for fly the sunny skies.
Saturday will feature story time with the Reddick Public Library and a fun performance from Istvan & his Imaginary Band. Story time will happen again on Sunday, as well as shows by a juggler and Miss Jamie's Farm.
