Join Alton Main Street and The Sierra Club for a celebration of the Mississippi river through art, music, and conservation!
Learn how to incorporate more sustainable practices into daily life. A variety of fun and educational activities are planned for all. Local artisans will offer their wares, music will fill the air, and delicious food and beverages will be available. The Mississippi Earthtones Festival pays homage to the river with eclectic and informational presentations and bohemian flair. Tie-dye, bajas, drum circles, and more can be found at the festival which celebrates life, nature, conservation, and coexistence.
Parking will be available in the Farmers' & Artisan's Market parking lot, located at 501 Landmarks Blvd.
Family-friendly activities take place from Noon until 6:00pm, and festival goers will enjoy artist booths and live music which continue until 10:00pm.
