This is the 56th year of the Pumpkin Capital of the World's famous Pumpkin Festival. Regardless of whether you live in Morton, grew up in the region or are visiting, you won't want to miss this beloved tradition that is the Morton Pumpkin Festival!
Do not miss this epic fall festival. From the Libby's Pumpkin Weigh Off to Pumpkin Decorating Contest to pie eating contests, this epic festival is a must-visit event! The 56th Morton Pumpkin Festival is a pumpkin-themed event taking place September 14-17, 2022 in Morton, Illinois.
Morton is home to Nestle LIBBY'S Pumpkin. 85% of the world's pumpkin is canned here each year. The Pumpkin Festival celebrates the beginning of the canning season and draws over 75,000 guests for pumpkin foods, carnival rides, parades, live entertainment, a 10K race, and over 30 events, venues and activities.
