Summer starts here!

The "festival you know by heart" is attended by approximately 75,000 during the course of the weekend. PrairieFest events are held throughout Oswego with the main festival grounds located at PrairieFest Park, 91 Plank Road, Oswego, Illinois. The event features main stage entertainment as well as activities like children’s performers, expo village, petting zoos, pony rides, children’s activities, parade, bucket brigade, and a touch a truck event. There is no gate admission. The event is free, compliments of our generous business partners.

Live entertainment for 2022 is led by headliners Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press (Thursday), Marshall Crenshaw, The Smithereens, and Material Issue (Friday), Phil Vassar Ethan Bell Band, and Carolina Pine with Woody James (Saturday), and American English (Sunday).
