Riverside Park Band Shell, built in 1938 by the WPA, is one of the largest of its kind in the nation. The scenic location accommodates up to 15,000 visitors for concerts and special events.
The Riverside Park Bandshell is located in Riverside Park in Murphysboro, Illinois. The concrete bandshell was built in 1938–39 by the Works Progress Administration and the Murphysboro Park District.
